A few weeks ago we introduced our 2014 H+P Women's team. Today: The H+P Men's A1 team.
The A1 team is primed and ready to compete hard at the ENDURrun relay for a second year in a row. The team has a few key returning members (Brendan, Greg, Sean, Luke) along with a few speedy editions (Jordan, Ahmed, Rob).
With a revamped training schedule, both the returning and new runners have seen drastic improvements in the last calendar year. We enter the 2014 ENDURrun looking to achieve a number of significant goals (click here to see the all-time best ENDURrun times):
(1) First and foremost, we want to crush our team's time from last year (12:12)
(2) More importantly, we want to beat the time of the team that beat us last year (11:09 by MYVO2 #1)
(3) We also want to aim to set a NEW event record (11:05, established by the Road Scholars in 2012)
(4) A final goal, if everything goes perfectly, is to be the first and only team to EVER break 11-hours for the entire event.
